Please Email Me Your Problems
This site is now expanding due to a request by a few interested Thurrock resident, it has been brought to my attention that the site should cover more subjects and involve feed back from all area Thurrock Councilors.

If You Cannot Get Results This Site Will Email Councilors For You.
I think this is a good idea, I did try this a few months ago regarding some fly tipping and a Health & Safety problem in West Thurrock, the three councilors for the area were contacted and they all replied, so we already know that the system will work.

All Orsett Ward Councillors
The links to the left will put you in touch with your Orsett Councillors, email your ward councilor with your problems, if you do not get a response, please email me with pictures if possible, I will also forward your problem to all of your ward councilors, and I will put your pictures and problems, including the dates up on this site.

This page is now reserved for your comments and pictures, example shown below

This comment page is open to ALL Thurrock residents.

No Need for me to email Tilbury's area Councillors.
It is nice to see Thurrock Council taking our problems seriously, however, we are now observing to see if the work gets carried out!

The New River Thames Crossing Link Close to Orsett Village!
Can anybody really know what route the new Motorway Thames' river crossing will take?

What are your views on this subject, please let me know by leaving your answer in the (Guest book) or emailing me.

Improving Road Safety in Thurrock
25/11/2009

Horse Riders Have No Legal Right.
I have had a request to bring to the attention of all Horse riders in Thurrock and Orsett that they should be aware that they are breaking the Official Highway Code Rule 53 and putting themselves and their horse in danger when riding down (Mill Lane Orsett) a One-way street towards oncoming traffic!

The Official Highway Code.
Rule 53
Before riding off or turning, look behind you to make sure it is safe, then give a clear arm signal.
When riding on the road you should
• keep to the left
• keep both hands on the reins unless you are signalling
• keep both feet in the stirrups
• not carry another person
• not carry anything which might affect your balance or get tangled up with the reins
• keep a horse you are leading to your left
• move in the direction of the traffic flow in a one-way street
• never ride more than two abreast, and ride in single file on narrow or busy roads and when riding round bends
