This site is now expanding due to a request by a few interested Thurrock resident, it has been brought to my attention that the site should cover more subjects and involve feed back from all area Thurrock Councilors.

If You Cannot Get Results This Site Will Email Councilors For You.
I think this is a good idea, I did try this a few months ago regarding some fly tipping and a Health & Safety problem in West Thurrock, the three councilors for the area were contacted and they all replied, so we already know that the system will work.

No Need for me to email Tilbury's area Councillors.
It is nice to see Thurrock Council taking our problems seriously, however, we are now observing to see if the work gets carried out!

Hi Judith.

I am fully aware how vigorous we must all be regarding the importance of protecting our precious green belt land, however I am not to sure if we could count on all of our Thurrock’s councillors when it comes to the crunch regarding the same!

Just recently a property developer, I think it was Red Row wanted to build houses on land in Tilbury to the immediate east of the A1089 (alongside the dock road approach near the Asda roundabout, this TTGDC project was knocked back, we were then given the option of a lorry park, same area!!

It saddens me that Thurrock Council and its Councillors do not appear to have any powers over the TTGDC and its only a matter of time before we see development (bull dozed through) all over Thurrock, when this recession ends, some of Tilbury’s Ferry fields have all ready been taken over by industry and warehousing.

Will the Shell Haven’s new container site spill over onto green belt areas?

A colleague pointed out this site to me and I feel it may prove to be another channel for residents, particularly in my ward of Stanford Le Hope East and Corringham Town, but also Thurrock wide to communicate their concerns to me.

I have only been an elected official since May 2008 but since then have been rather successful at getting ward related issues dealt with. Even though i don't pretend to be able to solve every issue, I do promise to do my very best to resolve issues as quickly as possible.

Thank you for your visit to the site, you are quite right in stating that this site is another way of residents contacting you.

However, some resident don’t think some Councillors or Council officers are listening and they contact me, I will always pass on all information to you and all Thurrock Councillors, but not the residents email address without there permission.

I would like you and your fellow Conservative Councillors to reconsider the outstanding road safety problem at the location of the Asda roundabout, if you and your councillor friends are drivers, it will not need much consideration to clear up.
